I haven't....

....blogged in a while. Don't really know what to blog about. I have been super tired here lately. I have my sleep all messed up. I've been staying up all night and then sleeping from noon till about 6 or 7 pm. Hopefully tonight I can get my sleep fixed. I just need to stay awake until about 10pm and then sleep. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, I can't wait to have dinner with my family and get to taste all that great food! Pray that I can get my sleep back on a good schedule! Thanks!

To Everything There Is A Season

Haven't been blogging lately, my Husband's Grandmother passed away Saturday and we've been pretty busy. Funeral Services were on Sunday and Monday, her burial was today.

On a more cheerful note, my Husband and I are hoping to conceive! I thought I'd share a scripture that I really enjoy.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

My Priorities

My Priorities are:
  1. God
  2. My Husband
  3. My Animals (3 Dogs and 1 Rabbit)
  4. My Home
  5. My Family Outside of the Home
  6. My Friends
Details of My Priorities:
  1. My first and foremost priority is to serve and be obedient to God, who gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. I desire to know the Word of the Lord and do His Will.
  2. My second priority is to serve and be obedient to My Husband. I love to see my Husband happy and content! I can usually keep him this way by keeping a clean home, being organized, greeting him at the door, having him a special home cooked dinner everyday, no nagging, and being happy and content myself!
  3. My third priority is my Animals! I am an animal lover and always have been! I keep them clean, feed, watered, and they get lots of hugs and kisses!
  4. My fourth priority is my home! My home is number four on the list, but is also of great importance. It is my job to keep a clean and comfortable home, that my husband can enjoy coming home from a long hard day of work and feel comfortable and loved.
  5. My family outside of the home comes fifth, this would be my Mom, Dad, Brother, etc. I visit my Family at least once a week and we talk (phone, messenger, email) daily! When ever they are in need they know all they have to do is call me and I'll be there, and they are always there for me too! (Ex. 1.) We've been remodeling due to the fire, and my family always comes to lend a hand! 2.) When my parents need someone to watch my little brother or take him to school, I am always there. etc.)
  6. Then there are my Friends! I'm always there to encourage, listen, or be a shoulder to lean on. Whatever they may need, I will be there!

Presidential Election

I voted today, for the very first time. I voted for John McCain, and I prayed unceasingly for him to win the Presidential Election. I was so surprised to see Obama as President Elect! Maybe the Lord's plan is better suited for Obama as President. I will trust in the Lord to guide our nation into the future and in him alone I will have faith.

My Old Home Management Binder

I hope you enjoyed looking at some pictures of my Old Home Management Binder! I didn't have a printer at the time I made it, so that is why all the art is drawn by hand, and all the text was done by hand also. I am currently working on a newer version, the old one just wasn't working any more. When I'm through with the new one, I'll post some pictures of it. I'm using the computer and printer this time around! ;) Last time, I got writer's cramp! lol

How I Spent the Lord's Day

I spent the Lord's Day with my family. I went and visited my Father, Step Mother, and Brother. My Father made a wonderful Dinner, slow cooked Italian Chicken, Carrots, and Celery, with Corn, Mashed Potatoes, and Buttered Rolls. It was absolutely Delicious. Then I went and visited my grandmother, didn't stay long, I had promised my brother I'd play a game with him before his bed time. I had a wonderful Bible Study tonight with an amazing Christian woman over the phone. I'm so blessed to have her in my life. I also took pictures of my outdated Home Management Binder and Started working on an updated one. The old one just wasn't working anymore, sometimes things need to change. I'll try and upload the pictures of my outdated home management binder tomorrow. Then once the newer version is complete, I'll upload pictures of it!
