Life Is Changing

I haven't blogged in quite a while. As you all know I started back college this past August and just finished up this semester this past week. I go to the local community college and there isn't very much to choose from, so I finally choose to major in Dental Hygiene. I don't remember if I shared or not, but the reason I started back to college is because my Husband asked me to while I still had the chance.

From the time that I decided on a major my thoughts have been changing. My dreams and desires are still to be a housewife and a homeschooling mother, but lately I have been thinking about something quite different. I have been thinking maybe I should continue with school and get my degree and work until God blesses my Husband and I with children. Which I hope I don't go childless that long, because graduation is still at least two years away. But I was thinking we would be better off financially if I could get my degree and work long enough to help pay the house down quite a bit or even pay it off. And once we had children I would then get to stay at home with them and we would have less financial strain. Just a thought.

On another note, at the beginning of this month I decided to make an appointment with an OBGYN, to talk to them about getting pregnant. I called and the earliest they could get me in was March 4th. I thought that was quite a long time to wait. :(

It feels good to leave you all a message! Hopefully I'll be blogging regularly again! :)

I'd like to know what you think about my thoughts. About working until the Lord sees fit to bless us with children.

I'm thrilled to hear from you, SaChay and I'm glad that you're doing well!

My thoughts on working until you're blessed with children: If your husband is okay with it and you're not preventing children in order to work, than I don't see the harm in it. My family and I have discussed this subject quite a bit...we thought that as long as the wife is taking care of her role as wife, and honoring her husband and God, then go for it:)
Just my $0.02!!

Have a blessed day and Merry CHRISTmas!

Thank you so much for your input Jenna! I always love hearing your view, your family is so biblically rooted. Of course we wouldn't try to prevent pregnancy! That is what we've wanted forever! lol Your comment has helped me a lot, as I was wondering if working outside of the home was biblically sound.

Merry Christmas!!!
