Just Thought I'd Share......

I have found that spending time with the Lord first thing in the morning makes a GREAT difference. Yesterday, I neglected to do so. I didn't get very much at all accomplished and felt sluggish all day. This morning I spent an hour in Prayer and The Word, I have so much energy and fell like I can accomplish anything! I have already got a lot accomplished today, and its only 8 a.m. The days that I put time with the Lord FIRST, everything seems to go smoother! I love reading God's word, don't you?

YES YES and YES!!! I feel the same way SaChay!! In fact, I write devotionals, as you know, on one of my blogs: www.CatholicDevotionals.com. While I'm Catholic, the devotionals, I think, can be applied to all Christians.

But YES YES YES!! Reading His Word in the morning makes a big difference to me. Matter of fact, I have been blogging in a very negative atmosphere where I was getting slammed, and even harrassed on my own site. I'm dealing with that and love to come to sites like yours and read about His goodness. Thank you so much.
God really does work in glorious and wondrous ways!!

I didn't know that you were getting negative feed back! I'm so sorry. Your devotionals can be applied to all Christians! I enjoy reading them! Just remember, True Christians, ARE persecuted! I struggle with persecution from my family, but I hope that they will see Christ through me and be saved.

Matthew Chapter 5 Verses 11 and 12

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

SaChay, you made me cry and smile at the same time. Thank you for those kind, kind words. I really and truly needed them. Your Scripture choices were right on. I can't thank you enough!

A reason I decided to start a blog was to have Christian friends that I could go to for encouragement. I truly am glad that we are friends!
